I would not. But, how do we know that the land mine is there? And what kind of landmine is it? Certain types of land mines pop out of the ground and kill/maim everyone within 10-15 feet..so it probably wouldn't matter anyway. If it was a grenade tossed into the middle of a bunch of fellow soldiers, I probably would jump on it.

yes, no, maybe, the bible says that taking of ones own life is a sin. but science tells you that you actually have a 30% chance of living when you step on a land mine, i am aware of the situation, and i will say a quick prayer and save my best friend because if i die i will go to heaven because i didn't commit suicide, and i save d a persons life in the process its better to die because you saved a life than to live because you never took the risk.

i would say if neither of you stepped on it you would both be saved. i might point it out to him so he doesnt step on it . if hes in front how do i get around him to step on it before he does. and no to answere your question if it were possible i would not.
