I don't believe a word of this. What does it have to do with being sexy?

It's not your fault. It is a chemical imbalance that makes you so depressed that you can't enjoy that sexy body. It isn't something you can just "snap out of"! But you can get to where it is controlled and really minimal in its effects on your life and happiness.

The best treatment is usually a combination of SSRI anti-depressants and talking to a therapist (counsellor, not a Fruedian dude or some far out stuff). Talk therapy & cognitive therapy seem to be the best for depression. Take your time finding the right therapist, someone who can both listen and guide you.

I've struggled with depression all of my life. I suffered until I nearly fell apart, then I got help. I have never regretted that step...in fact everyday I am so grateful for the help I got.

You may be sexy and have a great body but depression doesn't care what you look like on the outside. Something is missing in your life that is causing you to feel this way. You are thinking that since you look so good on the outside you should feel good on the inside but you don't. If you can take sometime to do some soul searching to see what it is you feel you are missing in your heart maybe you will discovery where the depression is coming from.

You need to go see a doctor. You probably have a chemical or hormone imbalance that is causing your depression. You can't just lift yourself out of it. I had the same thing and I wouln't want to live my life that way. I am on an anti-depressant and I feel great.

Depression is only one of your problems..you are to obsessed with yourself. Trying to be so sexy is a problem in itself. You need to be happy with yourself to start with. Sounds like you are not happy with the way you are. Get to the point where you are happy with yourself and the depression will go away.

Have you tried socializing and dating? Nothing you do for your appearance will affect how you feel, which is likely guilty, lonely, sad, ashamed or even all of the above- or even close to it .
