LOOKISM-BASICALLY YOU DISCRIMINATE AGAINST PPL THAT LOOK GOOD AND PPL THAT DONT. SAYING THAT YOUR A LOOKIST MEANS THAT YOU ARE COMPLETELY DIFF WITH ATTACTIVE/NOT ATTRACTIVE PPL. FOR EXAMPLE, HOT LOOKING GIRL STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, GUY MIGHT PULL OVER AND HELP HER OUT. UNATTRACTIVE GIRL WITH SAME PROBLEM, NO ONE HELPS HER OUT. THE SAME WITH LADIES. YOU TREAT GUYS DIFF. ATTRACTIVE GUY, YOU SAY HELLO WITH A HUG AND MAYBE A KISS ON THE CHEEK. UNATTRACTIVE GUY, JUST A HANDSHAKE.

no, I don't believe myself to be one although I know to an extent I (along with the rest of society) is. That's something you can not help...it's in our nature, mind you if I see somebody that needs help I am not going to judge them based on how they look or portray themselves, that would be superficial. But like I said, everybody is to an extent, I mean look at it from this perspective...you see an unattractive, scary looking person one side of the road and an attractive, trustworthy person on the other side of the road, who would you pick up? An lookist would pick up the attractive person right? But it's that person that's a killer or rapist! Of course, it could have been the other way around with the unattractive person too but you have to realize, you can't go by looks alone...good or bad!
So yeah, I am but at the same time I'm not one too b/c I believe in treating and looking at people in the same light...

people shouldnt look at it that way. Its wrong. Its not all about looks hopefully someday they will realize that! I used to date guys that were at least simi cute or better but i realized by the time i got out of highschool that i always had problems with them. They were ever players or just idiots. So its not good to just go by looks. Cause you just might find the guy/girl that suites you and he/she might be cute or might not. That shouldnt matter! and to answer your question no i dont believe in lookism and iam not a lookist.

Your theory rings true except for the fact that not all people feel that way. I know what you're saying though, as the majority do. But for the few of us that are out there who truly have love & compassion for all. I'd like to think that my acceptance of everyone makes up for those who are ignorant.

i can be sometimes. i try not to be but i admit i can be. however most of the time the attractive girls i don't trust at all. from my experience they tend to be arrogant and self absorbed.
