Have a couple of drinks and yank it awhile. You'll sleep like a baby.

Right now Benadryl Allergy two of them should do the trick. This is not a preferred way to sleep, so you will need something for sleep like ambien, lunesta, remeron, klonopin, and or trazadone. The last line hints at depressing thoughts, but it's the speed you should be concerned about. If you keep thinking about one depressing thought and then quickly switch over to another this can be a problem. Rapid thoughts put you at risk to do something to make them stop. My suggestion is just go to sleep it makes things clearer in the morning. Still have them call a doc it's that simple.
Turn off the lights, except for maybe candles if they put you in the mood. Listen to soft music and just drift away. Any problems forget them and schedule a time in the morning when you can worry about them. Hopefully you'll forget the time.

Sometimes, when your emotions are running high(or low for that matter!) it becomes difficult to do anything. It can really wear you out and at the same time make it very difficult to sleep. I know this may sound really strange, but it is not an uncommon experience. However if you are feeling really emotional but cannot identify what those emotions are you should find someone to talk to.Look in your yellow pages and find some social service agencies in your area (most larger cities have many).Call one of these agencies and explain your situation. If someone at the agency can't help you they should be able to refer you to someone who can.
It sounds like you may be suffering from depression. You need to talk to a proffessional and get some insight into why you are feeling the way you are.
Most social service agencies are free or of very little cost-get on the phone and try to talk to someone as soon as possible. Good luck to you!

You will become far more emotional without sleep.
What I did when I felt like that was I took a nice warm bath, with some lavender oil in it, I then lay on my bed reading a good book, that took my mind off things, I dropped off to sleep while reading most of the time. I hope something works for you soon me babby. :)
(Another thing you could do, is just talk your problems out with someone, maybe someone elses older sister, I think you know who I mean) :)

DISTRACT YOURSELF QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What you described happens alot to me also. The best advice I ever received for that and that actually works is to do something to take your mind off of whatever is disturbing you. Watch something funny on TV, read something fun, then when you're feeling a little better, play a cd of your favorite music on low volume as you are lying down, and you'll drift off before you know it. Then after you've gotten some sleep, you'll be better equipped, emotionally, physically and mentally to deal with whatever you're troubled by. And if things get too overwhelming, DISTRACT YOURSELF again, and just deal with whatever it is in SMALL doses, giving yourself plenty of space and time for mental health breaks.
(Watching a couple of episodes of FRIENDS is good, or even some kids shows. Anything fun. Have a stash of fun vids that you can use for the low times. )
(Also, build yourself a support network of at least 3-5 people that you could call at various times of day or night when things get too much. - I can't call my mom in the middle of the night, but I can call her in the daytime, and there's someone else I can call in the middle of the night if I need it.) Sometimes just having that network and distraction stash in place is enough. And sometimes you need to make use of it. The important thing is that it is there when you need it.
Good luck! Better times are coming! Definitely! I used to be chronically suicidal, but over time it HAS gotten better!
Peace, Love and Understanding,
Lara

Try to put on some soft music and brief!
Sometimes when you want to get away from your thoughts, you really always come back to them no matter what! But all you could do is try to relax and not to think about your problems. Good luck!

I snuggle, but if you don't have anyone to snuggle then maybe writing down what you feel just to get it out your system or have a good cry, or get yourself a big teddy bear and tell him/her all your troubles before bed, then snuggle him/her and you might be OK :D
