If you put it up your ... could they find it without doing a cavity search?

Actions quite often tip the observer. Dogs are sometimes used. If suspicious then a search is done. Now why would any person want to take that risk. if caught then it is prison. Drugs do get into prisons often. bribing guards is one way. Bad lawyers is another. The one in prison can find out by a little talking. Don't do it yourself. It is not worth all the trouble you will find.

Ok, if you are a prisoner, they will do a complete search of you including a cavaity search before and after each visit and anytime you come in or out of the prison.
Also the ones I know of, do the same after comming and going from any work detail.
For visitors, they do a regular search, but if they suspect anything they will search the inmate "real good" on his way back in.

The only routine way is body searches. It is illegal in most places to do body cavity searches on anyone without a warrant. That is why it is so easy to get contraband into prison.

Some of them use dogs who are trained to know what all the drugs smell like, and most of them have doctors. Or so I've heard.

contraband means any thing not legal for a inmate to have ..visitors adult or child are log in and being observed at all times by eye or camera a video tape is on at all time ..if cough bringing things in you too will be prosecuted and booked and you too will be a inmate...think imates tell on one another if they dont get anything or dont like them ....some of them work for the gards...

the dogs smell everything...so i wouldn't put it up my @$$...and second off if your in prison you deserve to be there and no one cares
