Yes, I'm sorry for your lost, but he's with God now. I believe it says some where in the Bible, that God even loves the sparrows and I believe that means that the animals will be with him in heaven, after all they are his creations too. Peace is with you and God bless.

One more thing, don't believe those who say animals don't have spirits, just taking one look at a dog will show you that they have different personalities, emotions and even hang-ups, not to mention they can think, maybe not like us, but they do and I believe that they probably feel Gods presence more then we do now-a-days.

Here's the verse:

Psalm 84

3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,
O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.

4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.
Selah

No, I am sorry. Your dog is not going to heaven because the Heavens and the Earth were not created by God for dogs and cats and every other animal. These animals were created for humans. Humans were created to worship God. So PETA is all messed up because God created most animals for humans to eat. If you believe in God, someday you will understand that in Heaven, your dog will not matter because everything in Heaven is greater than anything you could ever imagine. Sorry about your dog, but by the end of your life, in reality, it probably will not matter to you. Animals do not (as far as I know) know Jesus so they cannot go to Heaven. However, they will not go to Hell, they just will cease to exist.

Yes. I believe animals we love are a part of us, and though some people say animals do not have souls, I see that as impossible. How do the pets we love have different personalities then? Yes, and he will no longer feel pain, I'm sorry he's sick, but if the vet thinks he is suffering too much, sadly, it can be the best thing for him. Take care

Of course! Your dog, like any living animal, has life and a soul. Sure an animal's soul may not be as complicated as a human's, but it's still a soul. Yes, you will see him in heaven.

I am sorry you will be parting with your dog soon. Animals are so dear and precious.

Animals have no moral responsibility to God, so they are not promised eternal life. They return to the dust of the earth. I have animals that have meant so much to me that I have hoped that maybe someday I would see them again, but we simply are not given that promise.

John edwards says you will see him in the afterlife, but that's not necessarily Heaven. I feel for you though. I cried like a baby when my dog died.
