Domestic cats unlike their wild cousins don´t always hunt for food, however they may eat some or all of their pray. Basically they do it for the fun of it.
Cats will play with just about anything that moves, but the chase, the proper chase is usually left to rodents and birds. At some point your cat will bring you a present, usually a mouse, rat, bird, cockroach and leave it on you bed or at your feet, don´t freak out. It´s a social gesture that means you are the queen of the house, family. It´s a token of gratitud for all you do for him/her. Respond by petting and thanking your pet and then dispose of it as you see fit.
Some cats excell at catching mice or other rodents because it´s an instict, we think is linked to genetics. You won´t be able to rid your cat of it´s hobby as well as you won´t be able to make a non-mouser want to chase mice.
If you have a mouser, be sure to keep it´s vacccinations in order and speak to your vet concerning deworming and parasites. ´But please don´t get rid of him/her because of it, he can´t help it.

All cats are predators, and a predators instinct is to hunt its prey. Mice are prey, it is natural for cats to chase mice.

I unquestionably have a canines and a cat. The canines is barely aggravated by the cat and desires to attack her while the cat is working around. If the cat is basically jogging and not getting scared from the canines, no longer something happens....They the two basically scent one yet another and play somewhat. as quickly as we take the canines outdoors for walks an identical component happens...if she sees a cat and the cat starts off to run away or get scared then the canines is going loopy!! yet while the cat basically sits and stares then there is not any issues... i think of it is basically the quickly circulation..The canines gets excited and sees it as prey...yet purely while the animal is appearing like prey!!
