I do get migraine also. According to my physician, on the onset of your migraine (at the time you start feeling the headache & dizziness), remedy it right away with pain relievers like Anvil around 2-3 caplets at one dose.
Frankly, I suggest that you consult your own doctor as different doctors have different prescriptions for migraine depending on the severity. But for the majority, over-the-counter pain killers will do the job.
May I remind you also that you don't self-prescribe and just overdo taking these pain killers. We all know that yu can take up to a certain maximum of milligrams per day.
Also, try as much as possible to avoid bright lights and staying in cool, dimmed places will work wonders for you. Overall, try to take some rest if your migraine persists for longer hours.
Hope my suggestions will help you in the long run.

A few things, some of them it's too late to do because of the time, but you can try:
cold pack on the base of the skull, hot moist pack on the upper back/lower neck, that helps circulation. Take something that relaxes muscles like ibuprofen, take it with coffee as coffee is a stimulant and will make the meds get in your system faster. Lay down in a dark, quiet room or if you prefer soft music, nothing loud. Try to visualize yourself somewhere nice and relaxing like a beach. Close your eyes and try to sleep it off. If you have someone with you, have them massage your head and neck, temples, base of the skull, and the shoulders. There are trigger points that knot up that cause alot of constriction in the muscles, the muscles in turn help constrict blood vessels, if you can get all to relax, the headache will get better.
I get severe headaches from fluid, I have lymphedema. If I get one, I get in for a massage immediatly and it goes away.
There are meds like imitrex but if it's not a true migraine and taken right away it generally won't work.

Ponstan 500. I dont know whats its called in your country. Drink lots of water, stop work and go to sleep in a very dark room without any noise. A girlfriend or a wife who can massage your temples will help significantly! If not, a mother will do.
Maaan, migraines are f u c k e r s.

There is a one-time treatment Atlasprofilax that usually makes the migraine disappear - of course there is no guarantee.
I have experienced the amazing effects myself... :-)
Now, the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. And it's worth to travel a far way to make the experience!

Go to the emergency room and bag for a shot. Or you could buy the excedrin headache medicine. Put ice on the back of your neck. Get a massage, sleep in a dark room.

Go to the clinic and get a prescription - you need to stop them in their tracks before they get intense. Once you get the pain under control go get a complete check up. You could have food allergies that is triggering them, or something else. In this day and age you don't need to endure this. Go to the emergency room if you have to...I know they are horrible. Hope you feel better real soon. Hugs.

No colas, caffeine, chocolate, nuts or spicey foods. Pain meds, a dark room, silence and sleep help. You have to sleep a migraine off.

Lots of pain pills, a sleeping pill, a dark room and a cool wet cloth for your forehead.
