It's fiction.

Just because parts of the book conform to reality doens't mean that the overall intended "message", if you can call it that, is real.

It was okay, it ended better then it began, it wasn't as bad as people were saying, never trust the critics, but the book was better. Some of the facts are true and others probably haven't been reviled yet, we're always learning something new these days with science and archeology. If you want to learn more about the basics, look up Gnostics on the web or read “The Gnostic Gospels“.

I give the movie a C-. I expected more action. My suggestion is always read the books first and then watch the movie. I haven't read the book yet I've been doing some research and I'm starting to believe that there might be some truth to some of the things that were mentioned in the movie.

I think that you need to understand that both the movie and book are based on FICTION not fact, at all.

Instead of wasting your money on a poorly written book full of garbage from some fools imagination, try reading the absolute truth...found only in the Bible. It's a good read!

Dan Brown is a devout Athiest and created the book to help convert people over to Atheism.

It is a piece of FICTION that people like but also has a GOAL in mind to move people away from Christ.

Be careful

I don't know about "facts" since I am not particularly knowledgable on that period of history, but one thing is for sure; certain aspects of the Da Vinci Code and the Bible are Fiction. I don't see what all the hub-bub is all about.

As I've posted about a hundred times in here,it was FICTION.That means it was made up.The only truth in it was that a man named DaVinci lived hundreds of years ago.

Nothing's for sure. Dan Brown did write that all the artifacts etc were true and Priory.. and Opus Dei did exist but its not proven that they're trying to hide some secret.
