the three jacks are normally yellow, red and White. The yellow is the video jack and the red and white are audio. if you have only the white then plug it with the white. The red and white are for stereo sound and both do not need to be used in this case because your TV is not stereo.
Plug the yellow into the yellow for video This connection will not record however.

To record you normally use the RG coax to record through by connecting the Antenna to the DVD then the video to the TV from the DVD. These connections are normally on the back and will have the Antenna symbol and the TV symbol by the correct connection.

even if that's an HD container, connect the HDMI or component of the television, composite to the VCR. For an SD container that has one set of A/V out yet has S-video you are able to connect S-video to the television, and composite to the recorder. For analog, you are able to prefer to split the audio with Y splitters. you do not favor to Y chop up a video signal. you are able to get with the century and get a chain 2 TiVo DVR with Product Lifetime. With it, it a minimum of remains on each and each and every of the time buffering television. you are able to go between recordings and stay television as you want to. At maximum, you adjust the way you watch television, be recording each and every little thing and gazing from the recordings record. an decision decision may be to operate a second receiver to the equipment. on condition that earlier I were given a TiVo, I consistently had 2 satellite tv for pc receivers, one commonly for recording, the different for gazing direct. on condition that getting an HDTV, the direct receiver has been an HD receiver.
