HUH??? Your mother needs a good slap across the face, but I wouldn't suggest you do it because then you'd be in trouble for that. Go to a teacher. Any adult. Tell them what is happening, and they'll help you. Most of them will anyway. If the first person you tell doesn't help, go to someone else. Someone will eventually listen. I know it's hard to tell, and I know how embarrassing it is, but you have to do something, and the only thing you can do is TELL someone who can help.
The first thing that will happen is that you'll either go to the police station, the Emergency Room, or both. If it's been more than a few hours since the last rape, the doctors probably won't be able to find any evidence. But it's worth a try. The police will take your statement, and I don't know what will happen after that because I never got beyond that point.
Best of luck to you hun, and please tell someone......you don't deserve to have to put up with this!! Whether you believe in prayer or not, I'm praying for you tonight!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Edit: If you ARE an adult now, then there's probably nothing you can do about it. Just do your best to get past it. After you're able to think about it without getting too upset, maybe volunteer to talk to other sexually abused kids. You could do them a LOT of good, having been where they are now.
Your mother sounds like mine when she told me (at 7 years old) not to sit in my step-father's lap so much and it wouldn't happen again. Whatever.
I would report it to the police. If this is true, why does your mother not believe you. Is there a grown up you can go to and tell what is happening to you? Call the police yourself and report the rape. Call child protection services and tell someone. From the sound of your question, it is happening frequently, if this is the case or even if it happened once, PLEASE call or tell someone. This is a terrible, terrible thing and you need someone in your corner to help you. Tell someone NOW.
It happened a long time ago? Now I would suggest you get some counseling to learn how to deal with what happened to you and how to deal with what you are feeling about your mother. Eventually you will have to confront your mother so that your healing can begin. I wish you the best. Please seek counseling so that you can begin to heal. Make prayer a part of your life, I think it will help.
Check with you local laws, there is a statute on how long you have to report a rape, if the statute has not run out in your case I would still report it. If too much time has passed seek the counseling to help you to heal and have a better life for yourself. Good luck to you.
Well you sound like you are an adult now, so you have to try get past it. Seek out counseling. Mother´s are a strange breed. Who can understand why people react the way they do. Either way, you have to move on..Perhaps a dialogue with your mother from a distance would be helpful. try writing your mother a letter. Don´t hold back, get it all off your chest, it will be the first step toward healing yourself. Often this type of topic is to painful to discuss in person, and only leads to anger, tears and more frustration. Write a letter asking why.
Sounds like you should call the cops and report the guy and report your mother as well. Because if she is allowing it to happen she is just as guilty as the rapist is. Do yourself a favor find someone that loves you, marry him and take his mother as your own, because quite honestly if your mother told you that then she is not a mother pure and simple. Remember one thing in life you need to respect yourself above all else.
Are you serious? Call the cops if this is true, and if your mother did say that hopefully you will be placed in a new home. If nobody does nothing your mother or the police and this is REALLY happening call child services.
I'm not sure if I understand the question... were YOU raped and YOUR mom said that? Rape is very serious...you could look in the phone book for counseling (a lot of it is free). If it was recent call the police and speak to them and file a report.
Call the cops asap. Get her to a doctor so she can get checked out, STD'S are nasty to have from being raped. When you call the cops ask to talk to the Special Victims Unit. They deal with rape cases everyday. But yes you need to get your daughter help sooner rather then later
I would trust my child and notify authorities ASAP. If a kid tells you something like that, you go out of your way to have the situation correct. It's in the contract you make with your child the moment they are conceived, to keep them safe to the best of your ability
Ask her what happened. If she describes rape as it is defined, then report it to the police. If she makes something up, then sit her down and talk to her about how its bad to say things like that, and it can get her and other people in alot of trouble.
