At my house each tooth is worth $1. If she's an only child or just spoiled, $5 would work.

We give our 8 year old money on a sliding scale. The cleaner the tooth, the happier the tooth fairy.
He has gotten anywhere from $1.00 - $5.00
Also, whenever a customer uses a $2.00 bill, I "buy" it and use those for really special teeth.
Leave a note along with the $$$ saying that the "tooth fairy" was impressed and to keep up on all of the flossing and brushing! I suggest using a glitter pen and deceptive handwriting. Our son almost busted me by the writing.

Honestly I personally think that $1 is sufficient. I never was visited by the tooth fairy though. Perhaps you could go with $2 since that seems to be the average here and then the value depreciates if it has a cavity.

MY daughter has not lost any teeth yet, but we plan on giving $5 for the first tooth. $1 for each tooth after that unless it was really painful and then we are going to give $10. We only have one child btw.

For the 1st-- $1, 2nd-- $2, 3rd-- $3 and so on and so forth. My son had to have a tooth pulled at the dentist and he got $5, but I felt that it was a special case.
