Charlie is a lovely name, one of my daughters name is Charlotte and I call her Charlie often. They say your name says something about you, and actually Charlotte is a beautiful young lady but Charlie is a geeza bird (male personality) lol
She is herself totally, and has the magical sense of humor that could make the dead laugh, lol but boy sometimes she can be rude and crude worse than I have heard many men, lmol
Her name says a lot about her character coincidentally....quite funny really as I obviously never knew she was going to have the tendencys she does but she does have the "Charlie" character...
What ever you choose, it will fit around their personality, you wait and see!

Do you mean to name the girl Charlene of Charlotte and use Charley as a nickname? Everyone seems so fixated on having their child have a unique name. Why not give your child a name they can live with and let any nicknames come naturally.

Yes-definitely. Have even thought about using it myself,(I'm having a baby girl in October) but I haven't narrowed it down yet. I like it spelled either "Charlee", or "Charley". I think unisex names are different and awesome if used with a more feminine middle name.

Only if she dresses like a boy and has male tenancies. Don;t do it, there are lots of nice girl's names, find one that will fit your child. You;ll know when you meet her.

jamie was "the bionic woman", so charlie is a cute name for a girl... but not "Lucy" for a guy, or "Tiffany".. hehe...
