all gods r the same. allah = god = jahova = g-d = any other god of a monothestic religion. i mean really, think about it. allah is just arabic for god. they r the same things, and the religions r the same things. sry about quoting a religious text, but the bible, the qur'an, and other religious texts all teach the same basic idea (god watches us, our sins decide weather we get paradise or hell, etc.), with slight twists in the actual story. now anyone who has ever played the "telephone" game, where u pass a message from person to person knows that in like 2 min. a message can be pretty screwed up, now picture over the hundred or so yrs. between when jesus died and when the bible was written, or between when muhammed walked the earth and the Quran was writen. the message could get messed up a good bit, especially the details. so suppose that jesus, or muhammed, or what ever u want to call the savior (call him bob for all i care, its the same person no matter what the name), and picture if he came twice, once under the name Jesus, and once as Muhammad, teaching the same thing twice. that's what really happened, and he will come once more, as the jewish believe. all the religions r right, and they're all the same.

Most religions believe in a God or Higher being. Its not that one God is better than the other, its the smaller details that seperate the religions.
Now there are some people that get out of hand, I will agree, but i see it as we all (all of us that do believe) are worshiping the same God, we just dont call him the same thing.

FAITH:
1. Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.
2. Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. See Synonyms at belief, trust.
3. Loyalty to a person or thing; allegiance: keeping faith with one's supporters.
4. often Faith Christianity The theological virtue defined as secure belief in God and a trusting acceptance of God's will.
5. The body of dogma of a religion: the Muslim faith.
6. A set of principles or beliefs.
If you dont have faith....
there is no REASON to try and convince you of it.
When you find it...
you will no longer be searching.
(By the way, I am not christian, I am pagan.)

I have a feeling you don't want to be convinced...but, using Mere Christianity, an amazing nonBiblical reasoning tool for Christianity written by CS Lewis, I think it can be demonstrated that not only must God exist, but He must be perfectly moral and completely good and just. It's pretty neato how it all fits in with Judeo-Christian ethics, values and religious systems.

2 Questions.
1. When is the last time that you spoke and "poof" there was a tree, or a cloud, or a lake, or anything created by your word?
2. What capacity does the human mind have to reason out God Almighty...who can measure the Universe by the span of His hand?
With your approach, you are elevating yourself and your mind above that of God's...are you sure that that is wise?

Christians that only use the bible arent trained in rightly dividing the word of god. Theres to many schisms to do with any 1 translation of the scriptures, your life and experiences will lead you to the truth if thats what you truly seek.

Read any books by Lee Strobel or Josh McDowell. Both were Athiests who set out to prove that God did not exist, and ended up becoming Christians.

I don't believe anyone's God is better or the "one" I think we all beleive in one God but we find different ways of worshipping. Our ways of being spiritual might be varied, our points of view on certain traditions and the history might be different but they are all for the purpose of getting closer to that higher being some called God and also our own spiritual selves.

Why are you afraid to listen to the Bible? It has been around a lot longer than you and has proven itself for more than 2,000 years. Many wise people have based their lives upon it. It is a proven source of truth and wisdom and you want us to throw it out and use knowledge obtained from other sources.

Your statement in itself defies reason. You are asking the equivilent of proving that digestive enzymes exist without using a medical or nutritional textbook.
Proove radiation exists without using a scientific textbook?
Any of those would be an uphill climb and quite frankly those are easier to prove then things of the spirit. your question defies logic and reason
