I have a boyfriend in TX and we're hoping to see eachother every 3 weeks... Can I bulk buy in advance and save?? If so, what airline does that?

try getting with an travel agency that needs money. they can find you the great deals!!! Try also flying on standby that will get you good deals aswell but remember that standby is when you ride if the other pasanger(s) cancel or dont show up so the airline has an opening on that flight. Thats how airline employees fly for free.

Unfortunately not. Bulk buy's are done by companies like Priceline, Hotwire...etc. or companies or sports teams that have agreements with the airline for corporate travel. The best thing to do is be loyal to one airline or alliance of airlines, book well in advance and join their frequent flier program. I worked for an airline for many years and Ive never heard of this being done to a single person. Contact the airline directly, but I do not believe there is anyway to sell bulk rates to a single person.

I know Southwest offers the 10th flight free. All other airlines will allow you to redeem miles after you reach 25,000 miles. Depending on where you live, that may not take long if you fly every 3 weeks religously.

No bulk buys but you will be racking up some frequent flier miles. Fly the same airline every time and book directly with the airline's web site, not a reseller like Expedia; eventually you will have enough miles for free upgrades and free tickets.

Airlines are not like Costco-they don't typically do that BUT you can try a small airline. Some small airlines will make concessions if they can guarantee a regular business. Guaranteed money is nothing for a small airline to scoff at.

You can always ask-but-with a dh in the airline business-I can tell you it's not a 'done' thing.
Good luck!
