As a juvenile, if he is not required to register as a sex offender, he doesn't have to post his information on the internet, have any regulations on where he can live, or have to notify the police of address changes. I wouldn't post, but I would make my neighbors aware of the situation. If you post online, or speak about this publicly, he can sue you for defamation of character. I do not blame you for being worried, but his juvenile record is sealed and there is nothing you can do about it, legally, except speak with your neighbors. Do not hesitate to call the police if he begins acting wierd, or you children do.

The police have to do that, but if he comes back into the neighborhood, he is legally obligated to knock on all the doors in the neighborhood and explain to everyone that he is a known sex offender. If he has not done this, then bring it up with the local cops.

Depending where you live, posting his name could lead you into a courtroom. I now you want to. I want you to. 99% of the people on this board want you to. But...if you do, you could be liable for damages it causes.

That's the law!
