The Gospel means we serve a risen Savior. This is why most people say Good news .Yet I suspect a lot of folks do not put the two together.

No, Jesus' gospel cannot have anything to do with dying, sacrifice, etc. He "sent his disciples out to preach the gospel of god" (((before))) he died/resurrected. So what did they preach, the cross? Nope. Therefore, Jesus' gospel cannot be about sacrifice and that would be "another gospel."

The gospels of Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John describe the characterisitcs of Jesus. In Mark, he is a suffering servant; in Matthew, he is a teacher; in Luke, he is a prophet; and in John, he is the Messiah, the Son of God.

Lo I come in the volume of the book.
Christ is the living Word.
Psa 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
Heb 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
