I'm not saying all Christians are bad, but it seems to me that the ones who mostly qualify to be called "the Christian Right" are really just cold, heartless, rude, wrong, and hateful. They seem to act the opposite of Jesus.
Maybe I just have met the wrong "right" Christians.

I've also met Christians who are the nicest people I know. I'm not talking about them, but the radicals or whatever.

Where do I start on this one,They've reversed the word compassion Which in God's word say's in DEU 15:11 (KJV) For the poor shall never cease out of the land;Therefore I command Thee,saying,Thou shalt open thy hand wide unto thy brother,thy poor,unto thy needy in the land. Now that is God's word on compassion just one of many it was that important to God. So how they Get "if i help you i really dont so i wont." from God's word cause they think they're doing God's will by doing it

You are right on the money. Jesus' message was one of tolerance. His message was one of HELPING the poor. What do those on the religious right do? They spend all their energy try to ban gay marriage (funny, I don't recall Jesus ever lobbying for laws to persecute homosexuals), and bitching about welfare. Then, when they are done, they sit back in the smug conviction that they are morally superior to everyone else. Kinda sad, really.
