I got saved at 20, but went to Sunday school for the first 17 years of my life.

i was atheist (or at best 'agnostic') until i turned 22. (i was very cynical/critical over Christians, and had an attitude against them that could be matched with Satan himself - no exhageration!!!)
i didn't go to Sunday School...but i did question alot of things, similar to what most people question.
a friend of mine witnessed to me...i started reading the Bible on my own (and prayed God, if you exist - help me understand this stuff...and he did.)
It was then, I realized what Salvation was...
after alot of soul searching, and endless questions about faith -
*like why did I believe what I believed?
*how come bad things happen to good people?
*who's in control of 'everything'...
(that sort of thing...)
than, I started attending church - and eventually even started hearing the message/sermon.
One night, while the pastor was preaching; It seemed very personal (as if it were perfectly written to speak to me...I realized that was God petitioning my heart)
so it was then I asked God to forgive me for my sins...it was then i asked God to take control of my life...to help me live the way he wanted me to...it was then, I asked God to help me trust him in everything...
and I haven't looked back since! lol
i'm not perfect...just a work in progress.

I believed and trusted in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for me on the cross. He died for my sin and He was buried and took my sins away and He rose again the third day for my justification. I realized that I was a sinner on my way to hell when I was 40 years old. My life changed, my desires changed and I had a desire to lean God's Word. Now I am 70 years old and still a student of God's Word but I have been trying to get the gospel out to a lost and dying world. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Ok, i attended sundayschool as a boy at a Baptist Church but then when i was 13 i stopped going and then 30 year's later when i was suicidal and troubled by evil spirit's, i got on my knee's and prayed ,that was in '01 then after 9 11 i decided to start going to church again and was baptised(full emersion),and now i'm saved and my life is heading in the right direction.
So i was saved (literaly from my own hand's) and from my sin's.

I attended a Christian elementary school until sixth grade. All the while I was in a family ministry that went around from church to church singing, and doing puppet shows. As of seventh grade I started up in the public school system, where your faith meant little to the people around you. When I got to eleventh grade I began to date a wiccan who convinced me that there was no God, so I denounced God and all that he has done. My mom sent me up to Massachusetts to spend a week with my friend up there at her college to get me away from this girl. While I was up there I was writing things on her refrigerator with the magnetic words that she had. I wrote enormous blow hit head like car bloody red under mist. The following weekend I was in a car accident that ripped my car in 1/2 left me in a coma for three months, with less than a 20% chance of survival. God was telling me when my number was about to be up with a message that I did not recognize. Once I was coherent enough to know what was going on around me, age 20 I got my salvation back in order.

I was about dead, physically, mentally, emotionally and was dead Spiritually(LOST), then I called out on GOD(nobody was there, I was alone) and HE SAVED me. And like they say, 100 tons came off of my shoulders!!!!! I was a Catholic for the first 16 years of my like, till I got my car keys. I was about 32 years old when I got SAVED.
