new perspective:

You take a CD and copy it. No big deal.
You then take the copied CD and copy it again, ok. Still no problem
You then take the third burned CD and copy it again to another one.
You then do this again and again and again for generations.
Eventually none of the copies of copies of copies of copies would work as well as the first. You will get irregularities and "deformities" if you did not get another disk that might fix the errors of the previous generations.

I think you can see a parallel I am drawing here. Adam and Eve were not even copies, they were originals and as DNA gets passed through generations it is only a matter of time until you must diversify the gene pool because of copy errors introduced over hundreds of years.

I could say more but I will stop here.

Well, there is no other source of divine creation besides Adam and Eve, and they only had three sons (Cain, Abel, Seth), there must have been some incest and inbreeding. One of them must have had sex with their mother to propagate the human species. Besides, if you don't believe in evolution and all humans came from Adam and Eve, then we would all look exactly like each other.

Ok, you want to get everyone going here, right? You and I both know that the 'Eve" and "Adam" are symbols of the beginning of modern man. And the children would have married the present "man', as the "past" peoples were absorbed into the new species. Neandertalensis is still with us genetically, and every so often his characteristics pop out. So why are you stirring it up..it is Friday night...you should be out on a date.

The Bible, for the most part, is the story of God's people throughout history. In other words, it is the story of those who remained faithful to God, and those who didn't, are mentioned when it directly has to do with those who are God's children.

In the case of your specific question, we find in Genesis 5:1-4 the following:

(Genesis 5:1 KJV) This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

(Genesis 5:2 KJV) Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

(Genesis 5:3 KJV) And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

(Genesis 5:4 KJV) And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

Notice in particular verse 4. Adam and Even had other sons AND daughters.

So, the sons did NOT have to have sexual intercourse with Eve in order to procreate. Of course, they *did* have to marry their sisters.

Others have adequately expressed the concept of purity within those first humans, so I don't need to.

Continue reading Genesis 5 and you will see that there are many, many sons and daughters born, but very few are mentioned by name, only those directly in the line of God's children.

The kids interbred with each other. When God made Adam and Eve they were perfect; including their genes. Deformities were not known then.

It was a "PURE" human race then. They lived a long time and they had lots of kids. It all had to START some way. Evidently, it was ok to get together and reproduce at that time in history. There's a purpose for every season and reason under heaven.

Adam (peace be upon him) was the first human being of this world and Eve was created by his rib.
Both were sent to the world, they had kids and kids had kids.
That was the law by Allah the Almighty at that time.
That is why we are all from one man, who is Adam (peace be upon him).

Adam and Eve were created by God.
Eve was created from Adam's rib.
They consequently had children.
You know, now that I have started this answer, you have got me thinking...
If they were the only two on the earth, and their children were the only product of mating, where did their children find their mates?
I never thought of this before...
Ewww....
I can't believe this never occurred to me...

Genes were pure back then. The problems associated with imbreeding did not occur for 10's of thousands of years as a result of mutagens, chemicals that change DNA.
