Dogs don't do things out of spite. Most likely she just cannot hold her bladder as long as she used to. Make sure to get her to the vet to make sure she doesn't have an infection. Seperate her from the other dogs food or feed him a few times a day instead of leaving the food out. Just remember that she's not throwing a tantrum, she's getting up there in years and a leaky bladder is a common problem. Talk to the vet. Good luck! :)

At 12 the dog is more likely to be having a bladder control problem or be incontinent, than to be "mad" at you for leaving. She could have a bladder or kidney infection or some other problem. See a vet.
She wouldn't be "mad" anyway - she's upset at the sudden change of environment after all these years. It's separation anxiety - dogs are social animals that often are afraid to be alone. If it's such a problem for you to take care of an old dog, consider putting her to sleep or keeping her in a large dog crate.
As far as the dog food goes, put her in a separate area away from the other dog and it's food or bolt a bucket to the wall so she can't spill it.

If you have seen your Vet and he/she told you it´s not a physical problem, then it is most likely something called "separation anxiety syndrom". She may feel abandoned when you leave for work, and her response is to "mark" her new territory, sometimes if there is more than one pet, the new pet feels threatened and marks her new terriototy it´s a dog thing we don´t fully understand. Usually if you correct her and treat both animals the same way (kinda like chldren). Leave a TV or a radio on, this gives the pet the illusion that someone is home with them (my dalmatian has a fit everytime he hears my car keys, he doesn´t understand he can´t always go with me), So I put him in my bedroom and turn the TV on for him, he really likes soccer. When I come home I let him out in the backyard he does his thing and comes back in. I´ve never had a pottty problem with him. I hope this can help. She´s going through an adjustment period, be patient.

Good luck, if you find out let me know. I have tired everything under the sun. My dog is 14 and started after I got divorced.
My vet said if i scold her that will be rewarding her because she just wants attention.
I just live with it at this point and keep her out of the rooms with carpets.
