yes they are very hard to maintain. even though you really love her, sometimes love just isn't enough to keep it together. you'll find yourselves drifting further and further apart. it's really heartbreaking and totally not worth the aggrivation.

Unless you both are planning to move closer or move in with each other.
The problem is that in that type of relationship people start to get caught up in thier daily lives. They run with friends and meet new people too. The calls, e-mails and letters start to become less frequent. Then eventually a new romance may be made.
If you are really in love you need to either move or ask her of she is willing to move closer to you. Otherwise it more than likely will fade.

ha!! i wanna know the same thing!! ihave been with the same guy for almost 3 years and we were always togather but now we live a hour apart and i love the him but the hole trust thing!!
