Let me be perfectly clear.
IF YOU WANT TO IMMIGRATE LEGALLY AND DO NOT DESIRE TO COLONIZE OUR COUNTRY AND LIVE BY OUR WAY OF LIFE AND SALUTE OUR FLAG -
Then I have no right to say a damn thing about it as long as that's the way it goes and hope you get all the freedoms this country has to offer. As with any country, staying off the social services rolls will earn you respect from your fellow Americans.
Let me just further say that I strongly believe that such immigrants deserve the same wage law protections we have and, this is also very important, that WE ALL LIVE UNDER THE SAME CONSTITUTION. Not one set of rule for us and a better set of rules for immigrants.
I don't believe any reasonable person would expect anything less from immigrating to another country.

Americans treat legal immigrants very well...with respect. Because because doing things legally is a respectable act.

as long as you come legally then welcome to the USA. Its not the legally immigrants some people have problems with, its the illegally immigrants people like me have problems with, and its not just the Mexicans.

You will find both friendly and unfriendly-happens everywhere. With Illegal activity at a high and many issues some will be aloft or mean -not all. Make friends-they will help you through. If possible join a group-church-social what ever this helps.

It depends where u are comming in US, When i first came to US i got a ticket for Jaay walking and no body belives that one can get it. Some are mean. I spend 3 years in a bad surroundings. If u are comming on H1B visa through employer. Cahnge your employer as soon as you get here because your employer knows how to screw you

This depends on a lot of variables including your skin color, your language, your country, your religion, the state and city where you planed to go, your capacity of assimilation, etc. Good look in the land of the Freedom!
