because there is always those attacking Christianity. no other religion, or way of life, pro-abortion, pro-gay etc., is attacked by the media, most groups, ACLU, people for the american way etc. and such. they deem anything straight from the bible is thinking closed minded, hate-full, or intolerant. although all these groups claim to be for tolerance, open minded and free speech. it is much quite the opposite.

Probably because of the propriety of the content.

I doubt that a school would stop someone from wearing a shirt that says: "I'm for Pro Life." Or a shirt with a sweet picture of a baby on it that says "Pro Life"

But, will not likely allow: "God wants Pro Life", or a slogan with pictures of fetuses on it (as some Pro Life people are prone to sport)

For obvious reasons. (whether I agree with it or not) Schools want to keep any mention of religon out of it, but causes are fine. Naturally, graphic pics would be in poor taste.

Upon further reading of other's comments, I've determined it must really be an Anti-Christ, left wing liberal conspiracy. Forgive me for stating a more likely scenario.

I would like to see which pro-life shirt you're calling into question, as well as a link to whichever news article states that someone's religious freedom and 1st amendment rights were violated by this action. If the shirt is tastefully "pro-life", as opposed to having pictures of dead babies all over it, I don't see what the problem is, and it could probably be contested by the ACLU. But if you're wearing a picture of dead fetus-corpses all over your clothes, that's totally inappropriate, I don't care where you are.

wow, I never heard that students were not allowed to wear prolife shirts in school! If that is true, I don't think that is right.

because schools are full of people that can teach but cannot do and they only want you to have the opinion they have in the old days kids that were left handed were consider handicapped now days its any kid that thinks for themselves.
just remember this get your education ignore any thing but the facts learn math the answers are not subject to theory learn history BUT remember to answer the teachers questions but do some of your own research. because the first thing that socialists and commies do is try to change history.

now when you are on your own it is the real world and you can vote and you have the power to change our course. if you don't if you do what a lot of people do and ignore your freedoms we will lose it.

remember poverty starts in the mind right now is the time to think right be some one who blazes the way. and not some one who is carried.

That's a good question. Why DO schools allow students to wear some of the shirts they wear?

Personally, I don't think t-shirts used as bulletin boards should be allowed in school at all. If you have to wear them, do it in your free time.

Can you name some schools that don't let Christians wear pro life shirts, but, lets anyone else wear WHATEVER they want? I don't think such a school exists so it is impossible to answer your question.

School boards are controlled by the far left... and they have a double standard, although they'll never publically admit it. So the left can wear the shirts... just not the right!

Actually, you can wear anti-abortion shirts if you choose to, as long as you are attending a public school. If you are in a public school and that right is being denied to you then you can issue a complaint that your constitutional rights are being violated.

Because most public schools are very liberal. Prolife slogans are against what they want to teach so they are banned.
