It is true he is a great wrestler and some of the best fighters in no holds barred have been wrestlers just look at 3 time UFC champ Randy Couture who was an alternate at the Olympics and Matt (THE LAW) Lindland who i think missed out on the gold twice both times by one point.
So who knows maybe he would do alright but he wont the money is allot better in that fake $hit just look at those guys houses.

He'd be okay. The real masters of Ultimate Fighting have backrounds in mixed martial arts. Kurt would be good at chokes and submission but if It came to a striking fight (Punches and Kicks) He might have a rough time. He just doesn't have that kind of training

true...but the kind of wrestling they do in the ufc is pretty different. when kurt won his gold medal, he wasn't allowed to slam his forearm into people's faces or punch and kick them while on the ground. the ufc is a completely different sport and angle would get creamed....

with his real wrestling skill he would maybe survive, but it would take many years and alot of cross training in mma for him to even think about winning consistantly. Selling out to the WWE sure didn't help his image with real fight fans or wrestling fans, but I'm sure it padded his pockets nicely
