No where in the Bible do you read where that suicide is a sin that will keep you out of Heaven. But we read in the Bible that if you are a Christian that you will have eternal life.
John 10:28, And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man snatch them out of My hand.
He is not what we call an Indian giver where He gives us something and then takes it back. Jesus keeps His word.
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life which God, that cannot lie, promised before time began;
Suicide is a sin. What you are saying is God I can’t take it any more and You can’t do anything about it. It’s not trusting God and that is a sin. I am not a psychologist by any means but what I have heard about suicide is if you can just get the person to wait then they will not want to fulfill that desire when they get in their right mind. Often times you have a person wanting to commit suicide when they are under the influence of some kind of substance like drugs or alcohol.
Suicide, the taking your own life, is a sin but I can’t find it anywhere in Gods word where it sends you to Hell.

The Catholic Church teaches that suicide is a very serious matter which, if a person knows what they are doing and fully consents to it, that person is committing a serious sin. At the same time the Church recognized that people in this state of mind do not know fully what they are doing and do not fully consent to it. Many times people are out of their minds or give in suddenly to the terrible depressions that sometimes come over people. For that reason the Church has changed its practice about the burial of suicides. Formerly, they were not allowed a Christian burial. Now they are allowed a Christian burial, not because the Church permits or allows suicide, but because suicide is an act of blind desperation rather than deliberately chosen. At any rate, the Church leaves such souls to the judgment and mercy of God, who alone knows how responsible each person is for their acts.

mental illness can sometimes be the cause of suicide i feel. however , i also feel suicide as they say is the cowards way out. i feel it to be a sin in my heart because god says a life for a life that would include a suicide life. but god is the final judge on the matter. i hope by you asking this question you are not considering it? if so contact an emergency room, call your YMCA or church. or someone that you can trust to get you the proper help you may need. everyone is unique, special

Sin by definition is missing the mark. The word was used as a term when practicing with a bow and arrow and you missed the bull's eye or mark.
Saying that, suicide is a way of missing the mark as to why you are here. People that do not figure out life and commit suicide simply put, they missed the mark or the reason why they are here.

Whether it is or not, (I think it is,***) I am more worried about you. I hope you are not thinking of it. I have just been to a viewing of a guy who was too young to die. He had a tiny baby, no he didn't commit suicide, and I'm sure he would have loved to stay and watch that baby grow up... There are and will be many good things in your life if you just give it a chance. Maybe not at this moment, but trust me, they will come. I've had a lot of hurts in my life, things I thought I couldn't get past, but I am still here, and none of those things, while they seemed horrid at the time, were worth giving up for.
There's no problem that you can't work through, if you try. If you can't handle this thing alone then ask someone for help, just please don't hurt yourself.
There are lots of people who care about you and they will be hurt. I don't even know you, and care enough that I don't want you to die.
I'll bet you are just going through a rough spot right now, please talk to someone. A good friend? A pastor? A youth pastor? Please talk to God. He loves you and wants you to come to heaven someday. (Not by your own hand though...) Just talk to him, like you would to your best friend.
I hope it all works out. I am saying a prayer for you. Please be ok.
***I may very possibly be wrong, this is ONLY MY OPINION, but I think sometimes there are cases where a someone may be on anti-depressants or something like that, and they do it, and it wasn't them, but the drug that caused it...The person not being fully aware of what they were doing. I think that God has to be the judge of all that, but I believe Him to be fair and just. I wouldn't do it though, because you obviously are aware of what you are asking. I enjoy life too much, even when things are rough, I have joy, and I have my relationship with God to hang on to.

No. "Sin" is a make-believe crime invented by make-believe religions to make people believe they are guilty. "Sin" is an attempt to induce obedience and control other people's lives. You can, however, say suicide is a waste of life and hurtful to those the person leaves behind, but nothing silly like "sin".
Survival and propagation of the species is part of all living things' genetic makeup, so suicide among healthy people could be seen as mental illness. But in some species such as herd animals, the oldest and unhealthy willingly allow themselves to be killed by predator (effectively, suicide) to protect the young of the species.
If a person has a terminal disease, constant and debilitating pain, and no possibility for a better quality of life, why make them suffer if they want to end their own life? Stephen J. Hawking wants to carry on despite his ALS, but some people don't; they feel like prisoners in their own bodies.
If people are mentally healthy, they should have the right to decide for themselves to die with dignity and comfort, and not endure futile attempts to painfully save their lives. Who wants to spend their last days with a tube down their throat, machines beeping at their side and their mind addled with pain killers?
I could never envision myself committing suicide, but then again, I'm healthy and fit. Someone living every day in agony might feel differently.

Suicide is the most selfish act anybody can do. You might not see it, but you would litterally tear the people that do love you and care for you, inside.
Suicide is never the option. I know. I thought about suicide and been to the point to where I wanted to but, i realized if I was dead, you know how many people I would make happy. FORGET THAT!
Life isn't all that bad, you could be in worse places..

Putting God and all religious answers aside, suicide is rarely the best option and a sin because you';re wasting the gift of life.
No matter how bad life looks, it will get better.

No I have never seen or read in the Bible that suicide is a sin. Although I would not take such drastic steps myself.
