One thing I can tell you is to use Vermont white super sharp chedder cheese! you won't regret it at all. make medium white sauce and add shredded cheese and pour over yur mac and bake.

1. Cook the noodles
2. Layer the bottom of a baking dish with mild cheddar cheese(block cheese)
3..Then place the noodles on top
4. Crumble some crackers on top of the noodles just enough to layer it lightly
5. The put more cheese keep layering until the dish is full
6. Pour 1/2 cup of milk into dish and bake in the oven untill the top layer of cheese is melted and the macaronie is slightly brown.
My grandma makes it every Thanksgiving and Christmas it's the BOMB!!

4 cups cooked elbow macaroni, drained
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
4 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Once you have the macaroni cooked and drained, place in a large bowl and while still hot and add the cheddar. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and add to the macaroni mixture. Pour macaroni mixture into a casserole dish and bake for 30 to 45 minutes. Top with additional cheese if desired.

GOLDEN BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE
¼ cup butter
¼ cup flour
3 cups milk
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon dry mustard
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ package (8 oz.) bite sized macaroni
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
bread crumbs
Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Blend in flour and gradually add the milk, stirring constantly; add the seasonings. Cook until the sauce is thickened.
Add one cup grated cheddar cheese and stir until melted. Cook macaroni as directed, drain, and add to cheese sauce and mix well. Turn the mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish or pan. Sprinkle the top with 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
Bake in a 375°F oven for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and place under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned. Serves 6-8.

INGREDIENTS:
2 slices bacon
8 ounces penne pasta
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
In a large pot with boiling salted water cook pasta until al dente. Drain.
In a medium skillet saute the chopped onion, and minced garlic. Take off heat and add chopped cooked bacon and set aside.
To make the sauce, in a medium saucepan melt the butter or margarine over low heat. Once melted, add the flour and stir constantly for 2 minutes. Gradually add milk and continue stirring until thickened. Stir in 2 cups of the grated Cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
Combine cooked pasta, sauteed vegetables and sauce. Pour into a 2 quart casserole dish. Add the last cup of grated Cheddar cheese to top of mixture.
Bake uncovered in preheated oven until cheese on top is melted and brown, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm.

I boil the mac, put in a pan , add velveeta cheese, some cheese whiz and a little bit of carnation evaporated milk . mix together and bake! really good!! salt and pepper if u like.

well, everyone makes their's different... i put mild cheddar cheese, milk or cream, butter, eggs, noodles, salt, a dash of pepper, a little mustard blend together after boiling and put in oven until brown slightly...

pre heat oven to 400
can double
and can add milk to have a creamer macromi
take two cups of dry macroni and .two table spoons of salt, add to four cups of boiling water in heavy pot on high heat for five minutes only. take off heat drain (do not cool with water or rinse )put pot back on stove on low with macroni (not quite done).
Add one can of cheader cheese campbles
one cup of sharp or med grated cheese
add one cup milk ,or any type of dairy,like can milk half can and half can water or half and half one half cup
stir in,
prepare dish or pan
spray with oil or wipe with butter a square pan or glass dish is best put macroni in dish and cover with foyle , place in oven for
20 minutes take off foyle bake 10 to 15 more minutes to form crunchy top.

one cup dried bread half cube butter or margine crumbes and half cup of cheader cheeas or cloby mix together add salt to taste place on top of macrpni when first put in oven
