Ah... a manly man should be gentlemanly, someone who has integrity and who is strong, who stands by his principles, his values, is loyal towards his partner and not afraid to find his way through life depending on his core values. That's what a manly man is on the inside: he's got dignity: respect for himself, correct towards others and protective of those smaller and weaker than him.

On the outside it might mean that he's got an adult body, developed muscles and a jutted chin. :)

But apart from that, someone who's got dignity and behaves correctly is always attractive, man or woman.

A manly man I guess would be so strong and confident. A manly man would be dangerous, and exciting. Thats what I think. I would usually go for the sweeter guys.

I like on men when they act like gentlemen, you know, when they hold the door open for you, help you to put on your coat and so on. I think that this is the difference between the boy and the man. And it's also important for me when he's reliable, independent and when he's planning his future, not only living from day to day. And he should take responsibility for everything he does.

For other females, their idea of a man usually means 'buff' or physically fit, could handle themselves if they get into a fight and everything like that.

For me, I believe in a guy that is manly if he could take care of himself independently, and does not have to rely on other people's money just to survive. And that they have courage to defend you if a situation arises that you are in trouble and all.

But that's just me. x_X

Women well me at least, I love a caring person who isn't ashamed to let the world around us know he loves me, even though he goe's hunting, he would never kill anything out of spiute, like deer meat we can eat. He's the perfect man for me!! I wish everyone in the world a man like mine!!!

well for me, the kind of guy u can ask to go do something, like yard work, or to do the dishes, will do them. also the guy who knows when you need your space, and when you want them to hold you in there arms, and who you can join them in a video game and he wont just let you win, and when you do he tickles you to death. or when your sick he'll bring you just the rite thing.
or when you just pissed off, he will bring you your favorte CD on candy. and who cleans up after himself, has to be independent but is also vary open to you, friends and family. and can make you feel good just hearing his voice on the phone.

Being a man simply means being responsible in all ways, financially, emotionally, etc., being sensitive, honest and admitting mistakes.
