Try Yahoo-Shopping's Gift Finder (1st link under "Sources" below). You work your way through a few menus by selecting choices (his age, gender and so on) and, at the end, it gives you suggestions. For example, I took the information you gave, guessed at his age (18) and "life style" ("fitness fanatic") and got suggestions. To see them, click on the 2nd link below under "Sources"
