I have unfortunatly started growing feelings for a woman whom I work with there have been times where i cant sleep thinking about her she is older then myself which is something i find attractive in her. The problem I have is she draws me in closer and closer with our conversations and flirting then when i feel i've struck gold she metaphorically boots me in the testicles. what should I do?

She's playing with you but it is not her concious fault. Her subconcious is simply checking out her sexual allure then kicking her back into safe mode. (basic sexual physchology)
I agree with previous......play a little back. Off handedly mention some new babe you're seeing BUT make her just one or two years younger than your woman. (i.e In her league).
See how competitive she gets........

Enjoy the flirting BUT know that is all it is - she is probably doing it to boost her self esteem. I know it sounds cold but get out there and meet other people, this woman is only ever going to think of you as a relaxing/distracting part of your day when she gets to be someone other than wife/mother and be with someone who will flirt with her without any consequences. Sorry.

Go find someone your own age, she is just trying to see if she still has her sex appeal to draw the young men. She isn't worth hanging around for.

it was important to have mentioned the age gap? but your 1st answer is very good and a wise answer. you could try a little mind game with her? after a weekend tell her you have met a (younger than her) girl, do nothing but tell her all about this new girl, see how your workmate changes?

it happens to almost all of us. there has to be some one we all get attracted to in one way or the other. and in your case you have come across a lady who's older to you and i am sure she is well aware of your likings toward her. i would advise you to concentrate on your work and forget her. she is just teasing you.

try talking to her about it, if she does not feel the same way then drop it, and/or see about working some other place (meaning get tranferred)
