I know I can work at a prison, be a cop, but is there anything I might would be able to do like work for a lawyer?

If your not sure then you should probbably contact your local Tafe or University and ask for advice there, they will be able to give you the answers you are looking for.

1) Police Officer
2) FBI - with additional training and/or personal interest, you
consider forensics/crime scene investigations
3) Medical Examiners (you would have to persue additional
medical education
4) Criminal Investigators
After being married to a state employee (prison), I have learned this might not be the best place to work. You really have to have some stearn resolve.
QUESTION: When you persued your degree in criminal justice, did you not have a counselor/advisor to guide you in the possible careers that you would have to your advantage once your school/education was over? You should always know your options - It's all about moving up the ranks and being at the right place at the right time. Good luck

that is called paralegal. but if you can go out and ambulance chase i'm sure a lawyer will give you a job.
