Mostly I ask a question to find out something I don't know the answer to.
I hate it when people insult God, they do that mostly out of ignorance. or to get a reaction out of someone.

um... it seems like you took a lot of time to write tihs, so i will give you my honest answer.. I think its ok for you to ask questions about God, if you are learning something, and at first in your learning process you will question God's motives. That is ok, just lighten up, and you will understand things little by little. If you dotn understand something, ask someone with knowledge, like a priest. Dont ask people on the interent because sometimes you will not get an honest answer... anyways there are many forums for people of certain religions, you can go there and ask away, without feeling embarrassed, or worried about what you have to ask.
go to yahoo or google and write (religions name) i will assume, "christian" forums and join, people there will tell you what you want to know of your religion.. good luck!

Question everything....Accepting whatever people condition you to accept is a form of brainwashing don't you agree? I was confused about this once upon a time. Learn about religion. All religions. Then, make up your OWN mind. Think. Everyone who believes in their own religion are POSITIVE that "their' God is the ONLY God. But, not everyone can be correct. True?

But of course you are asking for it when you put stuff like that in this forum...people can be brutal, so it's sort of 'casting your pearls before swine, where they are trampled under your feet'. The bible advises against it. But I think you make a good point, and I agree with you completely. I only hope you are thick-skinned.

...And that is precisely why the church is losing followers. Faith *should* be questioned. Blind faith, or faith based out of fear, is no faith at all.
Many people have stated that they have left the church because of the admonishment constantly dished out for the simple asking of "Why?". If the Bible, the Church, the Faith, or God can't hold strong against a simple asking of "Why?", then it wasn't very strong to begin with.

Very well said, Bravo! We flatter ourselves, when we challenge God. A major vanity. A waste of time.
Just remember, that your pearls of wisdom may be ignored by many, and seen as challenges by others. There is a scripture to that effect...
