Out of the 7 cats i have had in my life thus far, 5 of them have done it as well. Some periods of time, and some of the cats in particular were worse than others. I kept laundry baskets, backpacks, and open boxes out of the area. Female cats i find tend to be a little emotional, he he. Honestly, if you make them mad or they feel territorial, etc, they won't hesitate to make their point. The behavior issue usually started around 1 and they became less frequent as they became older. The smell is horrific, i have no suggestions or ideas on that one, never liked it!! Does NOT go away.

If she is 11 years old then she is getting old. You may want the vet to check and see if she has a urinary trac infection / kidney infection, etc. If she just started doing this then I can't believe you are considering death after she has been with you so long. Shame on you. If you got a boyfriend,etc- a change- something she doesn't like, she may be strongly voicing her opion. She may be jealous/dislikeful of someone new. She may have the seence that they are bad for you. She is sick, old(medical problems) something is causing her to get your attention.

Maybe has a bladder infection and is experiencing feelings of uncomfortableness, maybe even a little pain. Lots of water. See the vet or look for natural cures on the internet.

Keep all your clothes put away and lock them from your rooms. If he or she is not fixed I would recommend doing that it may be the issue. Also try spritzing viniger on your furniture and other items to make them not want to go near it. i hope i have been a lil help to ya. Good Luck!

Since it's a new thing, you should take her to the vet. It could be the sign of a urinary infection or other disease.

you have to take her to the vet. to rule out urinary problems due to infection, incontinence or tumor vs behavioral.
