Check out this map, it is really bad!
It is interactive and will show you D.C. in the best way for you to SEE it.
I was there last month.
Actually I was born and raised there.
My father was with Air Force One for 14 years.
(Air Force One is for the President.)
Have fun !

Also, some of the answering is correct.
There are fountains in D.C. There are two awesome ones up by the Capitol. However the Reflection pool is just that, a pool that reflects the Washington Monument.

Do you mean the Reflection Pool for the Washington Monument? It's on the mall and it's between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. It's not a fountain, though, just a long, skinny pool which reflects the entire Washington Monument.
