getting a dog is a lifetime investiment, if you're already concerned about the price of just getting the dog, how are you going to properly care for it when it gets really sick because you bought a dog based on price instead of health and quality?
And by the way, there's no such thing as a teacup yorkie...there's no such thing as a teacup anything...it's just what people call the tiny dogs they get from breeding runts with other runts.

Remember you get what you pay for. I'm not saying you should buy the most expensive one because that's not a sure way to get a healthy pet either (such a pet store: bad place to buy from & very expensive). Research your breed, find several breeders & visit each one. Ask questions, they will ask you questions if they are a good breeder as well so don't worry about bothering someone by asking questions. We buy & adopt pets because we want a companion and in turn would hope they would be healthy & sound so they will live a long happy life with us.

From the most irresponsible breeder out there that is falsely advertising a Yorkie as a "teacup" so as to make more money. Oh!! Then, you aren't going to get one cheap then, as the term is a marketing ploy TO get more money.

Everyone already said what I would have said, and there is not much to add. Just please investigate ANY pet that you are paying for, and try to make sure that it has been well bred, and well cared for. Otherwise, you are encouraging the backyard breeders and puppy mills to keep churning out sick and genetically poor dogs. Remember, they don't care why you buy, just that you buy. You are not saving any money getting a poorly bred dog, and you are not saving the dog, either. Use some other criteria for deciding on the dog, instead of cost.

firstly "teacup" yorkies dont exist in any breed registry - they are simply RUNTS or pups stunted by poor nutrition, they seldom live long and often require additional care and expense...
if you want a "cheap" dog - get a stuffed animal otherwise educate yourself
NO BODY SELLS GOOD DOGS FOR CHEAP..
PET STORES ARE THE WORST PLACE TO BUY PUPS
contact a Reputable breeder - find one by calling a vet, groomer, or local dog club

Going for cheap pure breeds is a really good way to get an animal with serious health problems. If you're going to buy pure bred dogs, invest the money.
