if u saw a pretty girl walking down the street, would u slow down and honk at her? some guys did that to me, i was kinda creeped out.

Isn't honking a form of an insult? Can we compare this to people tapping on the glass of a fishtank? Or rattling the cage of a monkey? Or teasing a bird with things poked into the cage?
Ahh, then there is the lovely art of actual voice communication. But personally, regarding speech, I'd be just as offended by:
"Yo hottie, hot rack!"
But really, if a male has to try in extremely vulgar ways to get your attention, is he worth it?
WHAT IF he pulled the car over, got out and came up to you and said:
"I couldn't help but notice your beauty as I passed you by. You don't look like the type who would enjoy a honk from a passing car, so how about we confirm that while we get to know each other over dinner at (expensive and romantic place)? Here's my number-- I'm heading to work, but call me tonight, if you are free, and we'll set the date. Have a beautiful day..."
How would the average woman respond to that-- assuming there are men confident enough to do it?

Some guys honk, cause they are too shy to talk. Some honk just to see if you'll go goo-goo gaga for them when you see them or their car. But if they really were a man, they would have pulled up, locked the car, and asked you in person.... honking is rude.

I leave that behaviour to the kids and immature. I think it's so lame and would never do something so disrespectful. I mean, guys like this have no backbone so they need to honk at girls from a distance, with their friends to validate their action. Lame.Lame.Lame.

i don't think i would if i was a guy. you never know what the girl's gonna do to you the next second just to get you back for honking at her. i have a guy friend who did that and the girl was a daughter of the gangsters and he was lucky enough to be forgiven.

i wouldnt slow down, but i would give her a whistle, it should build her self esteem. I wouldnt slow down though, not like she gonna wave you over, doesnt happen these days, i would be creeped myself if i were the other gender
