just curious...im a really nice guy, could say im pretty good looking... but i notice that in high school the really cute girls end up with all the jerks that end up dumping them after 2 weeks? how can a nice guy like me end up with one of the cute girls and give her the relationship and love she deserves?

Because the girl doesnt notice his "jerk" side, she notices his good qualities like confident, funny, nice body, and nice smile before she realizes he is a jerk. Most guys who are jerks act nice and sweet at first. They dont let their true colors show until after the girl has fallen in love with him so that they can have a chance to have sex with the girl. The only thing they wanted in the first place.

Some girls like them because they are the ones who are considered cool or jocks or a so called player and know just what to say to them to hook them.They are in deed jerks,they play with her emotions to see how far they can get with her.If she does not put out 2 weeks is as long as there willing to wait.If she does,they'll keep her and use her until they get tired of her.Then will move on to the next.Leaving broken hearted girl behind.You don't want to be like them.You don't sound like a jerk,so don't be one.You will meet a pretty girl,it may not be one of them but will be able to have a relationship and love her the way she deserves.There are a lot of pretty girls out there.Don't get hung up on those girls.

pretty girls end up with the jerks because the prettiness is a cover. they are lacking in an area in their lives that makes them search the most beautiful guys because they feel that it will give them fulfillment. or in another case it could be pure shallowness,but the 1st reason is about 90% accurate. any person whether it be girl,boy, man or woman who takes anyone treating them wrong has low self esteem, and must seek help to give them the confidence that they need. but just be yourself and you'll find the perfect person for you. good luck and God bless!!

That's a mystery I've been mildly curious about too.
I suppose it's difficult for guys to understand what girls really look for in a guy, if asked girls probably say...intellegence, nice, funny, good looking, etc...but do they actually go for those types of guys in reality (especially the first 3 traits). especially high school girls I think rather than adults.

Well first show her that u really like her and bring her flowers are whatever u want to buy her and she will see that u are a nice girl .
Unless she is the type that likes jerk than forget about her .

Because people assume that these cute girls are always dating someone so the "nice" guys never approach them.The ones they end with are the only ones with courage who asked them out.Trust me really good looking girls spent more lonely nights than you think, it has to do with intimidation.

be cos the beautiful girls look for the good ones.the rich guys feel they can have many girls as possible because of cash. so they end up with jerks so they don't waste their beauty and get dumped later

they are falling for a psychological phenomenon where people judge themselves by the attitudes they evoke from other people. if they sense someone is being rude to them, people with unstable self-images will interpret that as meaning they are inferior, and will see that person as superior, a "good catch". they think they are dating "up". conversely, if they sense someone is in awe of them, they interpret that as meaning that person is inferior and to be avoided.
the way around this is to set strict boundaries on your own behavior which exhibit self-confidence and independence, and minimize inferiority, neediness and dependence. dont think of and carry yourself as a "nice guy", think of yourself as a "good guy" or a "strong guy" and carry yourself with corresponding confidence. you dont have to be a jerk to be self-assured.
remember also that in high school girls' egos are immature. as they get older this problem USUALLY gets better. hang in, you'll do fine in the long run.

I am female, but i very often notice this also.I think it's because the jerks(which are often very ugly) have got a great confidence about themselves.I think it's not all to do with how you look, i think if you think your wonderful then others begin to think you are too!
Try it out yourself, you should have double luck, if you'r good looking too!

Sometimes we tend to look at physical features but don't know the person. I am still looking for a good guy. It's really hard because the bad ones make it hard for the good ones.
