I asked my girlfriend a question because i was just wondering. I asked her "If a guy asked you to a dance would you go with him?". She said yes and i felt kinda hurt. I asked her why she would go with another guy to a dance if she loved me. And now she is mad at me and she said i was over reacting. Am i over reacting and waht should i do? I love her with all of my heart and it would really hurt me to see her with another guy.

You are way not over reacting I would be soooo mad if my boyfriend would do that!!! Grrr it makes me mad even thinking about it but anyways i mean im sure it was not BIG DEAL for her but it is for you. And she is not the one that should be mad the only one that should be mad is you. My advice to you is to talk to her and make her listen to you. Don't let her push you around like some animal, your her boyfriend talk to her and tell her how you feel. Another way that could work is you asking another girl if she would like to dance with you or whatever else... and then she will see what it feels like!!

As a woman I would not dance with another guy unless I was looking to make you mad. But I don't play like that. You have every right to be hurt and if she tries to tell you that you are wrong then she may not have the same feelings for you that you have for her.

Dude, if she's just dancing, it's no big deal. If she is always dancing with the same guy, worry. When she gets mad for the way you feel, maybe you should consider another option like spending some time apart. Maybe even date someone else. Don't let her take advantage of you. If she doesn't respect you or your feelings, don't continue the relationship. Sorry.

as a woman i dont think your over reacting i truly love my man if some guy even talks to me that he dont know he gets a little upset. and i the same if he talks to a woman. i would never dance with a another man with out asking first unless its a close friend that we both no or family at a get together. how would she like it if you danced with a different woman

Try asking what she would think if you went to a dance with another girl. Her reaction may be that she wouldn't care, but give her a night to think about it, (she will think about it) and you'll find that it hits her right where it hurts, just like it did you. Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind... make sure she knows that you don't plan on going anywhere with any other girl, but that you want her to see things from your view.

You are over reacting big time!! Dancing with a guy is nothing major!! unless they are dirty dancing and she hasn't dome it! Just a question and ya'll this mad wow what would of happened if she had of danced with some guy!!

I think you should do the same go out with your friends and if another girl ask you out to dance go for it don't hesitate, because surly you know she isn't, so why should you? I think if a person truly loves you or has any feelings for you that person would respect you in anyway.

I do think you are overly sensitive. Just because a girl will dance with someone else has nothing to do on how she feels about you. She is beeing polite and does not want to appear to be snooty or such. What counts is whom she goes home with.
