If there is a check engine light with a cat conv malfunction code you might get some help from a dealer....it is more likely that it is the sulfur content in the fuel you are using. Run the tank down to nearly empty just this once and refill with regular gas from a different source. The more sulfur in the gas the more egg smell you get.(FYI Toyota will not make any repairs unless there is a defect in the material or the workmanship of any part or parts)

remember the more conservitively you drive the less often it will stink.

Do not put in fuel additives to clean the cat. Take the car back to dealer and take them on a test ride so they can smell it when it happens. If its a bad cat you want it replaced under warranty.
However they way you say it happens it sounds more like your transmission. A plugged cat usually smells bad after long drives and the car loses power.
Either way a dealer will fix it under warranty

The "rotten egg" smell is sulfur. A bad catalytic converter can cause that smell. Low grade gasoline can cause it as well. You can get a fuel additive to flush the converter and that should make the smell go away. You can get the additives at any auto parts store..
