Right! You never see anybody on payday saying, "Don't give that money-crap to me! That stuff is for Jews!"

I think for centuries the masses were taught that it was the Jews who caused Christ suffering, which is what most Catholic church teachings do not care to go past, therefore a lot of people held to that belief of hatred towards Jews. However, in the mid-50's and especially in 1964 when the Pope insisted that the masses be allowed to have their own copy of the scriptures, even though it is a Catholic copy so as not to go against their doctrines and is updated with the Popes dictates, unlike the King James Version from 1611, which most Christians who have a personal not religious relationship with Jesus Christ adhere to, discovered the truth - the Jews simply rejected Christ as it was prophesied they would do and got the Romans to do their dirty work for them. With this revelation to the masses, there was an era of great decline in the Catholic masses and since, even though it is still one of the largest religious organizations in the world, we see few people embrace its loyalties like we did prior to that time, as it take little common sense to read even in their scriptures that Martin Luther knew what he was talking about when he said that Jesus came for greater causes - and many Catholics leave catholicism, with fear and trepidition, as that has been their stronghold to keep people, but have been set free in their true faith in Christ, the only necessary mediator or priest, and have found that Jews simply rejected Christ as many people do and are no more or no less accountable than we are, except as a nation, because God chose them specifically and upon their rejection, made Christ, available to the Gentiles without the rules of all the Jews - which just upset them all the more - so they are the ones who actually created the division - not the rest of us. But as a Christian, I have a genuine heart of affection for the Jewish nation and the Jewish people, and having known many who have converted to Christianity the faith in Christ, not the religion, find that they missed their own messiah when he came and how sorrowful that must be and how important it is that it is shown to them by our nation (which is need of its own repentance), our Christian people (not Christian religion) and our prayers on their behalf that they reread their prophets and see that the Christ they rejected is the Christ they were awaiting.

Probably for the same reason people hate anyone without reason. It's because they don't have the love of God in their hearts and they are disappointed that the world doesn't work the way they want it to. They don't have any hope beyond hoping that they don't suffer from a lingering illness before they shuffle off of this mortal coil and so they start looking around themselves to find a scapegoat to blame.

They see people like the Jews who as a culture are separate from other people, who have different traditions, and who seem to be skilled at making money, and they find a suitable target for their angst.

People just hate them because it is supposedly a trend amongst today's society, and a little of the last generation because of World War 2, where people despised the jews for plaguing the land in Europe.

I believe in treating everyone equal, and that will only differ if their own existance and goal is to make everyone's life a tormenting state, or if they are a person of pure malice.

And I really don't think people should hate Jews, unless there is a good reason for it, but if it is just like, "I hate the jews." than that alone is not a good enough reason. You shouldn't judge on the general type of the people, but of the person as an individual that you "hate".

I believe it is because of the difference genetically and anciently. When the Babylons captured the Jews castrating them and making them slaves the expectation was they would all die out. But the reality was the race continued. Therein is your clue . The women should have made little Babylonians but not so. What is the difference. It is that the women have thick egg shells of course. So the race will never die out as I sees it. But who am I to say these secrets for all to read.

I don't hate Jews. But a lot of people I know are racist against them. Like when I was in junior high, I would be looking through my social studies book and I'd find Swastica (spelling?) symbols all over the pages. Now that you mention it, all of the Jews I know have a lot of money. Hmm...

I don't hate Jews. As a matter of fact there is a possibility that my grandfather converted during the first world war in Poland, due to the high prejudiced nature of Europeans against Jews. I love the Jewish people, if not for them, the Messiah would not have been prophesied, and thus I would not have faith in Our Lord Jesus. Jews are God's chosen people, why would I go against God? I don't understand the prejudice against Jews, they are not violent to me or my family. I have prejudice against races that are violent or threatening to me and my family.

I never met someone who doesn't appreciate money. I think the anti-semitism is just a holdover prejudice from back when Christians were starving and Jews weren't. Personally, I am Catholic and one of my good friends is Jewish.

People are just retaining an ancient jealousy.

I am not jewish but I do not hate them. I have two friends that are jewish. As kids, it only meant that they went to a different house of worship on weekends, yet we went to the same school, playground and toy store.
Oh, and there was also a black family in the neighborhood, I secretly wanted johnny as my boyfriend but his best friend frankie was my boyfriend first.
I really don't understand this racism thing. Although if I had a choice of doctors I would pick a chinese one to save my life. I am white, german descent, do I sound racist?
