I have a 9 year old male German Shepherd. Today, after some playtime, I saw a bubble on his belly that was not there last time I layed him down and scratched his belly. When i touch it, it feels soft and if i put pressure on it, it sinks back into the body as if nothing but when i release pressure, it comes back out slowly. Any advice?

keep an eye on it, if he exhibits any odd behaviour due to it, get him to a vet quick. In mean time you should schedule appointment for vet to look at it when available. Over phone vet may give advice also. good luck!

Yes a dog can get a hernia just as easily as a human. Call his vet! Can you feel the opening in his abdominal muscles? It could be anything, but you won't know until you contact a vet to check it out.

Yep! You need to see a vet. This isn't the place to get a diagnosis for something like a "bubble" that you noticed on your dog.

They do get hernias. Take him to the vet for x-rays to figure what type of hernia it is. he may need surgery to repair it!

Yes, dogs can get hernias, but id your dog had one he would probably whince when you touched it. Take him to a vet to get it checked out.

Go to your vet and have him check it out. It can be a hernia, cyst or a lipoma (fat ball).
