I'm thinking about buying a 2005 edition and I wanted to get some opinions on them. Please help if you know anything about them.

My neighbor has owned two of them. He really liked the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. He had a hatchback, which was trade in for a Mustang, and he commutes with the stationwagon. He says they've been very reliable cars for him.

i have a 2006 Ford Focus AND i work at a Ford Dealarship as a Receptionist so I know all about Ford's. I don't like the way the Focus looks but it drives really well and it's good on gas, i suppose. :)

My brother had a 2003. He was in a horrible wreck that should have killed him, but walked away. He hurt his knee really badly, but he lived. I've always been grateful to his Focus. The car completely crumped AROUND him, but he was safe.
But, he did not buy another Focus -- said it was "too rattley and loud" when he drove it.

my friend owns a focus, they are really good cars. just whatever you get, dont buy a saturn, they go through alternators like gasoline.
never heard anything bad about a focus though.

when i was looking around for a car, my budget left me with only a few choices, i did not choose the focus because of its girly looks and overall cheap feel.
but, if you want a reliable, inexpensive commuter car, and like how it looks, then go for it. it has good reviews and is a high selling car.

I have a 2001 and i love it! There was a recall on the fuel pump while back but otherwise it has been really good to me.
