Fundies don't like to deal with that fact. You're an intelligent and insightful person for just bringing it up. Golf clap to you, sir/ma'am.
The reason there's no mention of dinosaurs or other megafauna in the bible is because back in the day, people couldn't deal with the idea of "prehistory". These creatures all died out aeons ago, so only fossils were left. If someone happened across the fossilized remains of a dinosaur, or even a mammoth, they'd just call it a "giant" and be done with it. (interesting fact: that's where the cyclops myth came from. The skull of a mammoth has its eye sockets set very close together, so it looks like there's only one eye. And it's big...so there ya go. :)

Actually, the Bible does talk about dinosaurs. The oldest book of the Bible is the Book of Job, which takes place before the Flood of Noah. Job talks about several dinosaurs:
Job 40:15-24 - Behemoth
Job 41:1-9 - Leviathan
Job 39:9-10 - Unicorn
After the Flood, dinosaurs are not mentioned again in the Bible. Maybe that has something to do with their disappearance, and which they suddenly dissapperaed, buried under mud and turned into fossils?

Moderen language would call these creatures Dinosaurs, however, I believe referrence is made to dinosaurs below:
Please NOTE verse 17 - "his tail sways like a cedar". As in a cedar tree. An Elephant or Hippo would not have a tail as big as or swaying like a cedar tree. Verse 18, "His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron." Image tubes, large tubes of bronze, ie: very hard.
It matches perfectly with several different species of dinosaurs, such as the apatosaurus or brontosaurus. His great height is indicated by the phrase, “the mountains lift up food to him” (40:20). This implies that he stood taller than the trees. And he seems to have spent much of his time in the water: “Under the lotus plants he lies down, in the shelter of the reeds and the marsh” (40:21). He is called “the first of the ways of God” (40:19) because he is one of the “great sea monsters” (the great tanninim), the first animals created by God according to Genesis (Gen. 1:21, see below). His size and power do not match any living species: “Will anyone capture him while he is on watch; will he pierce his nose with snares?” (Job 40:24).
Seems dinosaur like to me!
Job 40 (New International Version)
15 Look at the behemoth, [a]
which I made along with you
and which feeds on grass like an ox.
16 What strength he has in his loins,
what power in the muscles of his belly!
17 His tail [b] sways like a cedar;
the sinews of his thighs are close-knit.
18 His bones are tubes of bronze,
his limbs like rods of iron.
19 He ranks first among the works of God,
yet his Maker can approach him with his sword.
20 The hills bring him their produce,
and all the wild animals play nearby.
21 Under the lotus plants he lies,
hidden among the reeds in the marsh.
22 The lotuses conceal him in their shadow;
the poplars by the stream surround him.
23 When the river rages, he is not alarmed;
he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth.
24 Can anyone capture him by the eyes, [c]
or trap him and pierce his nose?
The second creature mentioned in this passage is Leviathan (Job 41:1), which closely matches the plesiosaur, an aquatic, seagoing reptile of great mass and strength, but of limited mobility on land. That this is not an alligator (as often interpreted) is clear from the impossibility of killing him even with many harpoons and other weapons (41:7,26-29). This, too, was a huge creature, as can be seen by the crashing sound he made when he beached himself, and the violent stirring of the water when he returned to the deep, trailing a large, white wake behind him (41:31,32). The fire that sprang from his mouth is a standard part of dragon legends from around the world (41:18-21). It’s hard to explain such uniform testimony unless it is based on some actual characteristic of certain species of ancient reptiles.

The book of Job, which many suppose is the oldest book in the Bible, talks about "behemoth" with a lot of characterstics of that of a dinorsour. Job chapter 40 verse 15.
It's obvious that God made the dinosours, that they were not an issue in the Bible era, and God through his Word dealt with them accordingly, - basically irrelevant to "today's" ages.
The Bible can be said to be the ultimate in truth, esp. spiritual truths regarding the nature of God and man, than any other 'truths' that distract away from spiritual truths are just that, - distractions.

Dinosaurs are mentioned in Job. There are many stories about them in literature. There is quiet a bit of evidence that man and dinosaurs lived at the same time. Look for the evidence, its there.Some people only see what they want to.

Once again ... God created the world in 6 days, rested on the seventh, right? After putting Adam and Eve in the garden and giving them all sorts of instructions, like don't eat the fruit off that tree over there, there's an unmentioned time period.
That's when evolution occurred. Not at creation, but just after.

to tell u the truth, dinosaurs arent millions of years old as scientists say they are. they were before men but not long before. Greek mythology (as they call it) was not fictional, they were actual fallen angels with satan. All our school books and history are full of lies.
