Am really close friends with a girl. At times, she calls me Hubi/Sweetie/Sunshine. She asked me out on a date and I said Yes. She then says that she just wants to be friends and was joking - I say OK.
Then she says she doesn't want a boyfriend ever because shes been hurt in the past and is looking for a husband. She askes me if I honestly like her - I say Yes. She says we should get to know each other - I say OK. A day later says she justs wants to be friends because she doesn't want to get hurt again and mess up our friendship!
What does it mean?

She's probably just as confused as you are. She states that she likes you and wants to further things because she truely does... but again she says that she doesn't want to hurt the relationship by doing that... which she really don't want to hurt it or herself. Your best bet is to show her friendship, let her know that you are there for her and are willing to wait until she gets her feelings sorted out. Right now she is scared of losing you and her heart... give her time.

This means, stay friends!!! She does not know what she wants and she will play you like this all the time. don't let your heart get broken, just be friends with her. Now, go find yourself a gf by asking her if she has any single friends....lets see what happens.

It means you should find yourself a new girl that doesn't put her hang ups on you. I think maybe she doesn't know if she wants to be with you but doesn't want anyone else to grab you in the meantime either.

she's just worried that you're gonna hurt her like the last guy did. if you really want to be with her, prove that you wont hurt her and that she can trust you. otherwise, stay friends for now.
