hi i'm kinda in some ****.when i signed in for an account at yahoo, i put in my pet name and not my real name..................so i waz wondering if i could change it and put my correct name

Yes definitly you can.
Sign in to yahoo Look for the link "My Account" you would asked to confirm your password and then you can edit your details like Name, Contact information also you can change your password from here.

U cant change ur username once its already been made. Instead u can either open a new yahoo account and try to get ur name as ur username (depends on whether anyone else already has a yahoo account with that name or not) or u can go to Options menu in ur yahoo account and select General Preferences. U can change ur outgoing name there as ur own name. Email youself at some other mail account and see whether ur satisfied with it.

I don't think you can. Or maybe it's your user name you can't change. It's one of the two. Contact Yahoo support. Eventually they'll get back with you. Or try to have the account deleted and start a new one.

I believe you can do it in "my account" (located up there ^, next to "Sign Out"). At the bottom, you can edit your contact information. You can change your name there.
