computer, if i dont have microsoft powerpoint but have microsoft viewer can i still make a powerpoint presentation. If so how? Where do you go. (i dont have it saved on the computer) so what do i do.

you can only make presentations with powerpoint. With the viewer you can only view them.

U can only view powerpoint presentations with ur Microsoft Viewer. In order to make presentations, u need Powerpoint. U can go to www.microsoft.com and download Office 2007 trial version and make a presentation for the time being if ur in a hurry. It will save ur time instead of looking for Office 2003 CD anywhere else (except buying it). The instructions to make presentations are mentioned in a step-by-step procedure on microsoft's office website. Please have a look. Thanks!

the viewer only allows you to view powerpoint file, you still need powerpoint to create them

no you can only VIEW powerpoints on the powerpoint viewer....hence the name

install openoffice.org and create your presentation and can view that presentation on a different computer(why do you want to use MS ppt viewer on the same computer when you have open office.org?) using MS ppt viewer.
