For domestic flights u only need to show some ID so they can compare the name of person on ticket with ID
same person is flying who bought ticket

only just a formality nothing else

Yes, you do need ID. A passport will suffice as well as the new picture driving license or national identity card.

no. your visa status or citizenship status us sorted out, at the border, if you enter from outside the country. however, maybe passport or some form of id required, due to security nowadays
