go to a salon and ask them what sort of hair cut fits your facial contour, and see if you will be able to manage this style if so your good to go. maybe be even add a little color or not.

if you have curly hair (which most of the girls over here do), the popular cut is to leave your hair curly and cut bangs, straighten them, and then brush them to the side. sounds wierd but looks great.

the choppy look is still very popular! [long, medium or even short]
and if you flat iron it [even if already straight] that's a very trendy look.
put some highlights in it & now you've really got it!
