Why do ppl find this soo hard? Easy answer, tell her to her face, you would like to be friends, but friends ONLY. You are not interested romantically and have other friends you see regualarly. She will get the message. If you don't want to see her at all, then tell her you don't think it would work out well between you, and that you have a lot of time taken up elsewhere and you don't want to hurt her by having her hang on waiting for you, and that you would rather be honest and be upfront! Understand dude, that this girl LIKES you, which is always good, so be a bit respectful and you will get respect back!

You are in a jam. If you treat her rude, she will only like her more. Just tell her that you are really messed up, and you don't want to drag her down with you, you love her, and you will contact her when you work out your issues. Try to sound like you are crying on the phone as you tell her this. Tell her you have big mommy complex, and she reminds you too much of your mother, that is always a big turn off for chicks, to hear that they remind you of you mother.

if she calls, just ignore the call... if she's texting DONT respond. she will eventually go away in about a week -- she will realize how stupid and desperate she looks and leave you alone. or at least i hope she would. otherwise you will just have to be bold and tell her to please move on and leave you alone.
