Predestination is unscriptural and not found in the Bible.
2 Peter 3:9 ..."not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
1 Timothy 2:4 "who wills everyone to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth."
Peter and Paul did not teach predestanmation. Predestination is not found anywhere in the Bible. Clearly, John Calvin goes against the Bible and would have been condemened by Peter, Paul, and the Apostles.

Stuie: Jeremiah 1:4-5 the verse is talking about JEREMIAH. It was about him being appointed prophet, it was not about us or any other person.

First, pay attention to what Contemplative said. Then read 1 Cor. 1:12-13. Calvin did not die for me, so I am not a Calvinist, nor am I Armanianist. The issue of Calvinism, however, has been a great tool of Satan to divide the church of God, and to have brothers who are both saved by the blood of Jesus even refusing to pray with one another, saying that they worship a different God!! Don't let your hosery get all bunched up about this; just believe what the Word of God says is true.

I believe that predestination as found in the Bible refers to the kind of heart that would respond to the gospel, not to specific individuals.
The implanted word would grow in good ground - that aspect is predetermined.

Predestination is scriptural from start to finish. Seek truth rather than proof and you will find truth.
This I believe; http://homelessheart.com/testimony.htm

John Calvin was a power hungry mass-murderer who executed anyone who opposed him.
